Job Description

  • • Plan and provide implementation schedule for all site installations and maintenance of all POPs (Point of Presence), Base Stations and infrastructure to ensure Service Delivery is done and quality is maintained as per the best standards and most efficient use of resources and time.
  • • Inspect and verify installations, base stations, POPs (Point of Presence) and infrastructure done as per the required standards, correct practices are used on the network, power and all other areas and proper reports are generated.
  • • Train technical team members on standards of network, systems, base stations, installations as per industry and equipment manufacturers’ standards.
  • • Ensure efficient and timely coordination & communication internally and externally.
  • • Understand and document the existing infrastructure and setup for service delivery on all technologies as well as personal growth towards higher positions
  • • Report any suspicious activity to the management including, but not limited to missing items, equipment or materials from any site(s)
  • • Recommend improvements and better practices on the installation of sites, base stations, Point of Presence and infrastructure overall
  • • Assist in maintenance of Base Stations, Point of Presence and any station whereby the company is present
  • • Guide towards the growth of the company as well as expand reachability of service, products and services in the connectivity sector
  • • Research & Development of various existing and new technologies
  • • Drive towards 100% uptime for the services provided
  • • Get or be familiar with various fiber optics technologies, wireless, electronics, networking devices, power and last mile solutions on Wireless Towers and Fiber infrastructure.
  • • Implement MSAs, SLAs contracts and follow up on pending SLA / Contracts / MOU with colocation and infrastructure partners, authorities.
  • • Developing customer service standards, policies and procedures for the organization or department.
  • • Manage assigned projects as project coordinator, manager or supervisor from start to end including research, development, testing, POC if needed and implementation to commissioning, handover.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
